Bruges Pride 2026 runs from Friday 12 June to Sunday 14 June 2026. The Pride March takes place on Saturday 13 June, starting at 't Zand and ending at De Burg.

Yes. Both the Pride March and the open-air festival are completely free to attend.

Bruges Pride is for everyone. First and foremost we celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community, but everyone who values inclusion, diversity, respect and connection is welcome. We strive to create an open, safe and accessible space where people can be themselves, regardless of their background or personal situation.

We do our utmost to make Bruges Pride as accessible as possible. The festival grounds are flat and a disabled toilet will be provided. We also aim to take different needs into account throughout the organisation so that everyone can feel welcome and comfortable.

Bruges Pride is primarily in Dutch, with some English contributions from Queeropeans and/or performers so that international visitors feel welcome too.

Yes, children are welcome under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Parents remain responsible for their children throughout the event.

Individual participants do not need to register. Registration is only required when participating with a larger group.

The Pride March starts at 't Zand and ends at De Burg.

We expect the Pride March to take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

Both are possible. You can participate individually or as a group. For group participation we ask you to give us an estimate of the number of participants in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Yes! Flags, signs and banners are welcome, provided they are not party-political and do not contain inappropriate or offensive messages. Costumes are also allowed as long as they comply with local regulations.

The Pride March departs at 15:00 from 't Zand. We recommend arriving on time.

The Pride Village is the central festival grounds of Bruges Pride, located at De Burg. Performances take place here and toilets, food and drinks are provided. You can also meet some of our partners and learn about their initiatives.

The Pride Village features a varied programme including a set by Steve Boedt, DJ sets and a Sniffing Velvet open-air contest. The programme combines music, performance and entertainment in an open and inclusive atmosphere.

Yes. The Pride Village has food and drink stands with prices kept as accessible as possible. A foodtruck festival also takes place in the city, and there are many bars and restaurants nearby.

Yes. Everyone is free to arrive or leave at any time, depending on what suits them best.

We do our best to make the event as accessible as possible. The Pride March runs through the streets of Bruges — please bear in mind the cobblestones. The festival grounds are flat and a disabled toilet is provided.

There are currently no designated sensory-friendly zones or fixed quiet spaces. The festival grounds are easy to leave and visitors can approach a safer space buddy at any time for support or guidance.

Yes. First aid facilities are available on site, including a Red Cross first aid post.

Bruges Pride aims to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone. We expect visitors to treat one another with respect, and there is zero tolerance for discrimination, intimidation or boundary-crossing behaviour. Crew members and safer space buddies are present throughout the grounds.

If you feel unsafe, approach a crew member or a safer space buddy. They are visibly present on the grounds and are ready to listen, offer support and take further steps if needed.

Visitor safety is central to Bruges Pride. The event is organised in close collaboration with the city, police and emergency services, and meets all safety requirements and permit conditions. Crew members, first aid and safer space buddies are present throughout.

Bruges Pride uses music, sound systems and light effects, as is standard for an outdoor festival. No extreme or unexpected effects will be used. If you experience any discomfort, please speak to a crew member or safer space buddy.

Yes. You can report incidents or concerns after the event via info@brugespride.be. Every report is handled seriously and confidentially.

Yes. Everyone can volunteer at Bruges Pride. We warmly welcome people who want to help make the event a warm, safe and successful weekend.

Tasks include stewarding, clean-up, set-up and takedown, support on and behind the stage, and safer space buddies.

Experience is a bonus but not required. We provide the necessary explanation, guidance and support so that everyone can carry out their role well.

Bruges Pride goes ahead in all weather. The stage is covered and the festival grounds at De Burg benefit from extra shelter from the surrounding buildings. In the event of extreme weather conditions, updates will follow via our communication channels.

Yes, pets are allowed on the festival grounds. We ask you to consider your animal's wellbeing, as it can be a busy and potentially stressful environment.

Your own food and drinks are permitted, though we encourage visitors to use the provided stands. Drugs and weapons of any kind are strictly not permitted at the event.

By train or bus: Bruges is well served by public transport. From the station you can walk to 't Zand or take a bus. By bike: several underground bike parks are available, including under 't Zand, next to the Concertgebouw and near the Markt. By car: the most convenient car park is the underground 't Zand / Concertgebouw car park, within walking distance of the parade start. We recommend using public transport or cycling wherever possible.

Temporary traffic measures will be introduced on Saturday 13 June, including possible road closures, diversions and parking restrictions around the historic centre, the parade route and De Burg. Exact details will be communicated via our website and channels in due course. We recommend using public transport, cycling or park-and-ride.

Visitors with reduced mobility can use the underground car park at 't Zand, which has adapted parking spaces and multiple lifts providing easy access to street level, within walking distance of the Pride March start and the Pride Village.

Our foodtruck at the Pride Village offers a vegetarian option. For specific dietary requirements such as gluten-free, we recommend checking with the foodtruck on the day or using the many food options available in the surrounding area.

Drinks are available for purchase. We use reusable cups with a deposit, as part of our commitment to sustainability and waste reduction.
